Ramo Stott – Daytona 1973
It was the Daytona 500 in 1973. My pop drove this car for owner Junie Dunlovey. He finished 7Th in the 125 mile Gatorade race on Thursday and came back to finish in the 8Th position in the Daytona 500…winnings were $445.00 for Thursday and $4,095.00 for a grand whopping total of….. $4,540 ! These guys raced because they loved the sport.

Lance Stott’s 1930 Dodge Brothers Coupe
This is a 1930 Dodge Brothers Coupe that Lance is restoring, This car Pop bought in ’55 and almost became a race car but because the wood spoke wheels, wood floor and wood roof frame it was deemed unsafe, so the corner of the garage became it’s home until 2000 when Lance aquired it and did a frame up restoration. Dubbed “Barney” the ’30 has been a family affair. Mom and Pop, Corrie, Lance and Steph (Lance’s wife) and some others have all taken part in the “rebuild” of what has turned out to be a pretty nice piece.
