Andy began his career in racing at the age of twelve racing snowmobiles throughout the Midwest. By the time Andy neared his twenties he had compiled a list of over 500 event wins, 20 state championships and three world championships. Moving to stock cars at the age of sixteen Andy quickly became a late model standout and traveling ace. Racing in events across the Midwest and winning in series such as Championship Racing Association (CRA) and many late model races propelled him into NASCAR for the first time in 2003. In his 2003 debut Andy qualified an impressive fifteenth in the Craftsman Truck Series (now the Camping World Truck Series) race at Indianapolis. After a brief stint in ARCA with only five starts and 2 top fives and three top tens, Andy moved to the NASCAR Busch Series full time in 2004. Andy has since floated between NASCAR and Late Model Racing until teaming up with Corrie Stott Racing in 2008. Hopefully the team can secure a lasting and prosperous future together.
On the personal side Andy is one of the truly blessed people on the planet. With a loving wife and three adoring girls Andy truly is the “King” in his house. Andy and Susan were High School and College sweethearts, and Emily (10) Alexis (8) and Tessa (1 1/2) are the apples of their eyes. With our Christian faith we thank God everyday for the blessings of a happy fulfilled home life.
